Food Assistance

At Greer Community Ministries, we recognize that many individuals and families in our community face difficult financial challenges. Rising costs for housing, utilities, healthcare, and other essential expenses often leave families struggling to put food on the table. Our Food Pantry exists to provide hope and practical support by helping ensure that no neighbor has to face hunger alone.

Through the generosity of individuals, churches, businesses, and community organizations, our Food Pantry provides emergency food assistance to families throughout the Greater Greer area. We stock a variety of nonperishable food items to help meet immediate needs and offer encouragement during challenging seasons.

Food Assistance Hours

Monday – Friday
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Donation Hours

Monday – Thursday
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Friday
8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

First-Time Recipients

First-time recipients are required to provide proof of residency. Acceptable documents include a photo ID with a current address and/or a current utility bill. These documents are required to verify eligibility and ensure assistance is provided to residents within our service area.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers are essential to the success of the Food Pantry. Whether stocking shelves, organizing donations, or assisting guests, volunteers play a vital role in serving our neighbors with compassion and dignity. If you are interested in volunteering, we would love to have you join our team.
