Supporting Neighbors With Essential Clothing

Sharon’s Closet is a vital ministry of Greer Community Ministries, providing clothing assistance and essential household items to neighbors in need throughout our community. Each year, Sharon’s Closet serves more than 2,000 individuals, offering not only clothing but also comfort items such as blankets, towels, and pillows.

Our goal is to help individuals and families feel confident, supported, and cared for during challenging seasons of life. Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, Sharon’s Closet continues to meet everyday needs with compassion and dignity.

How to Receive Assistance

Qualifications:

Sharon’s Closet services are available by appointment to ensure each visitor receives personalized attention.

To receive assistance:

  • Appointments are required — Call 864-877-1937 to schedule
  • Bring a valid driver’s license or proof of address within our service area
  • Individuals may receive clothing once every 90 days

Back-to-School Giveaway

Helping Students Start the School Year Strong

Each year, Sharon’s Closet supports local families through our Back-to-School Giveaway, serving more than 400 students in grades K–8 with essential school supplies.

  • Applications open: Beginning of July
  • Supplies distributed: End of July

This program helps students begin the school year prepared and confident while easing the financial burden on families.
